A Productive Day

Today was a productive day. I ran some errands, buying kitty litter and other necessities, and then buckled down at my computer and finished my final project for my class with Michael Johnson in the Business School that is due on Friday (a full 4 days early!). I'd post a copy of my project here, but since it contains proprietary information, I am unable to do so.

After spending all day working on this project, I had a really great time making omelettes with Mandy for dinner and ice cream sundaes for dessert. She was explaining to me the difference between whole language versus phonics reading instruction that I had been reading a bit about in Nespor's (1997) Tangled Up in School. I'll be reading more in this tomorrow after work, so if I come to any new revelations, I'll be sure to post them.
