Not so faithful

So I haven't been so faithful about posting updates on here lately. What can I say? I'm a busy guy. Especially with all that's been happening lately...

I accepted a position as Director of Campus Life at Concordia University Ann Arbor, where I have spent the last two years as a Financial Analyst. I've had two full weeks in my new position, and I am really enjoying it. I have a great opportunity to make changes and really take some big steps to improve student retention (not to mention development), so I'm excited about the possibilities this holds.

The move to a new office afforded me the space resources to expand my family, so I have adopted a sibling for Miss Kitty in the form of a beautiful red and blue Betta fish that lives in a vase on my desk. In keeping with my pattern of creative pet naming, I have dubbed him, Mr. Fishy. He is very active and has been great company for the 14-15 hour days I have been spending in the office.

My schedule lately looks something like this:

• 07:30 AM Wake up
• 07:48 AM Brush teeth
• 08:30 AM Arrive at work
• 05:30 PM Finish work
• 05:31 PM Start work on my Qualifying Exam
• 11:00 PM Finish work on my Qualifying Exam
• 11:01 PM Call Mandy while I drive home from work
• 11:43 PM Brush teeth
• 11:59 PM Go to bed
• Repeat, repeat, repeat

Anyway, that's not much of a life, so I am really looking forward to July 22nd when this will all be done!
